Do I need any coding experience to join?

The First Steps in AI Coding track is designed for people with no prior programming background. The Practical Machine Learning course assumes basic Python familiarity, and the Mentored Portfolio Programme is suited to those who have already completed an introductory course or have equivalent self-study.

How long does each programme take to complete?

First Steps runs over approximately 6 weeks at a comfortable pace of 4–6 hours per week. Practical Machine Learning is an 8-week programme with similar weekly commitment. The Mentored Portfolio Programme spans 12 weeks and includes structured check-ins with your mentor throughout.

Are the sessions live or pre-recorded?

Core lesson content is available as on-demand video and text material so you can work through it on your own schedule. Mentor sessions in the Portfolio Programme are scheduled live. Community Q&A sessions run on a regular weekly rhythm and recordings are shared for those in different time zones.

What is the pricing and are there payment options?

What equipment or software do I need?

A laptop or desktop running Windows, macOS, or Linux is sufficient. All tools used in the curriculum are open-source or freely available, and the setup guide walks you through installation step by step before the first session begins.
